According to the terms of transportation and for safety consideration, it can only retain 30%-50% of electricity during transportation.

New batteries come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use. It is recommended that you fully charge and discharge the new battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity.

The power generation principle of disposable battery is quite different from rechargeable batteries. Charging Non-Rechargeable battery may cause fire and explosion. To be safe, please do not charge Non-Rechargeable battery.

The resistance and voltage of old and new batteries are different. The new one will lose power quickly when work with old battery, also could reduce it’s battery life.

The maximum continuous discharge rate of lithium manganese battery (like CR123A CR2) is less than 1C.

If the current output of the device is higher than the continuous discharge rate of the battery, it will be overheat.

If it cannot cool down in time, the battery will be overheat or even explode.

If reversed the positive and negative poles of the battery, it may had bad effect on battery and the device. Please check about it before put it into a devices .

1)Exposure of battery to extreme heat may result in an explosion. When a battery is not used for extensive periods of time it should be removed from the device and stored in a cool, dry and clean environment.

2)Since the battery will Self-discharge, please fully charge the battery before use. NiCad, NiMH and Li-Ion batteries , remember to break the "memory effect" in before use.

For the dead lithium batteries, if it is handled improperly, the heavy metals contained in it will inevitably pollute the environment.

On the other hand, cobalt, lithium, copper and plastics in dead lithium batteries are valuable resources and have extremely high recycling value.

So, the scientific and effective disposal of dead lithium batteries not only has significant environmental benefits, but also has excellent economic benefits.

NiCD and NiMH batteries should be recycled properly. Do NOT throw these batteries in the trash. NiCD batteries are composed of approximately 20% cadmium, an extremely hazardous element which is environmentally detrimental. While NiMH batteries are environmentally friendly, the higher capacity NiMH cells still contain trace amounts of cadmium.

1)They have a higher energy density than most other types of rechargeable battery. This means that for their size or weight they can store more energy than other rechargeable batteries.

2)They also operate at higher voltages than other rechargeable battery, typically about 3.7 volts for lithium-ion vs. 1.2 volts for NiMH or NiCd. This means a single cell can often be used rather than multiple NiMH or NiCd cells.

3)Lithium-ion batteries also have a lower self discharge rate than other types of rechargeable batteries. This means that once they are charged they will retain their charge for a longer time than other types of rechargeable batteries.

4) NiMH and NiCd batteries can lose anywhere from 1-5% of their charge per day, (depending on the storage temperature) even if they are not installed in a device. Lithium-ion batteries will retain most of their charge even after months of storage.

So in summary, lithium-ion batteries can be smaller or lighter, have a higher voltage and hold a charge much longer than other types of batteries.

NiCad batteries tend to suffer from what is called a "memory effect". When a NiCad battery is only partially discharged before charging, the battery "forgets" it has the capacity to further discharge all the way down.

The way to avoid the dreaded "memory effect" is to fully cycle your NiCad battery at least once a month. In other words, fully discharge your battery and then fully charge it.

Batteries can be discharged by allowing the device to run on the battery until it ceases to function. This will insure your battery remains healthy.
